Massage Therapy
Massage therapy is a hands-on treatment that helps relieve muscle tension, improve circulation, and promote relaxation. Its benefits include reducing stress, alleviating pain, enhancing recovery from injuries, and supporting overall physical and mental well-being.
Prenatal Massage
The purpose of prenatal massage is to provide expecting mothers with relief from pregnancy-related discomforts, such as back pain, swelling, and muscle tension. It promotes relaxation, improves circulation, and supports overall physical and emotional well-being during pregnancy, ensuring a safe and nurturing experience for both mother and baby.
Hot-Stone
Hot stone massage is a therapeutic technique that uses heated stones to relax and ease tense muscles. The heat helps improve circulation, reduce stress, and alleviate deep-seated muscle tension. Stones are placed on key areas of the body and may be used as tools during the massage to enhance the overall experience. This soothing and restorative treatment is perfect for relaxation and targeted pain relief.
Indian Head Massage (Champi)
Indian head massage, also known as Champi or Shiroabhyanga, is a traditional Ayurvedic therapy that focuses on the head, neck, shoulders, and face. This technique uses gentle yet firm strokes, kneading, and pressure points to relieve stress, reduce tension, and improve circulation in these areas. It’s designed to promote relaxation, alleviate headaches, and enhance overall well-being by balancing energy flow in the body.
General Manual Lymphatic Drainage
The Dr. Vodder School is the leading provider of training in Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD), ensuring expert education in this specialized technique. MLD is a gentle therapy that stimulates the lymphatic system, promoting lymph fluid movement to reduce swelling, improve circulation, and support healing. It is beneficial for conditions such as lymphedema, post-surgical swelling, chronic venous insufficiency, fibromyalgia, edema, detoxification, and sinus congestion, enhancing overall well-being.
All first time appointments of Lymphatic drainage sessions include an assessment, which may take up to 15 minutes, depending on individual needs. This is followed by hands-on treatment using gentle manual techniques to stimulate lymphatic flow. Remex (Remedial Exercises) are also incorporated to support ongoing lymphatic health. Each session ensures a well-rounded approach, integrating assessment, treatment, and movement for comprehensive care.
General Manual Lymphatic Drainage and Indian Head Massage
This treatment combines gentle lymphatic drainage with relaxing massage techniques for a holistic and therapeutic experience. The lymphatic drainage helps to stimulate circulation, reduce puffiness, and detoxify the skin, promoting a healthy and refreshed appearance. Meanwhile, the massage relieves tension in the head, neck, and shoulders, reduces stress, and fosters relaxation. Together, these techniques support overall physical and mental well-being, leaving you revitalized and balanced.
